AI Zombie Couple Video: Make a Zombie Love Story
Make the viral zombie love story from two photos: your partner turns zombie, you drop the bat and hug them. Steps, photo tips and a real 15-second result.
The zombie couple video, also called the "zombie love story", is a short AI clip that keeps going around TikTok, Reels and Shorts. One person survives the apocalypse. Their partner walks out of the fog as a zombie. The survivor raises a weapon, recognizes them, lowers it and hugs them anyway. Then the clip cuts to a happy memory of the two before it all happened.
The Zombie couple page makes that clip from two photos: one of you and one of your partner. You get a 15-second vertical video with music and sound. In our test, it was ready in 3 to 5 minutes.
How it works
- Open Video generator → Zombie couple in the dashboard.
- Upload your photo. You play the survivor.
- Upload your partner's photo. Your partner turns into the zombie.
- Select Generate (75 credits).
- Wait on the page, or leave it. The video appears in Your videos when it is ready, and you get a notification. If generation fails, the credits come back.
Each photo is a JPEG, PNG or WebP up to 2 MB. Behind the page, Alibaba's Wan 3.0 reference-to-video model gets both photos in one request, with a prompt that tells the whole story in three beats:
| Seconds | What happens | | ------- | ------------ | | 0–6 | A ruined city street at dusk. The survivor holds a bat. The partner staggers out of the fog as a zombie. | | 6–11 | The survivor recognizes them, lowers the bat and hugs them. The zombie calms down. | | 11–15 | A match cut on the hug, to the same couple in a sunny kitchen, both human and laughing. |
What a real result looks like
We gave the page two photos of AI-generated people: a woman in a green suit as the survivor, and a man in a blue suit as the partner. These four frames are taken at 3.5, 6.5, 11 and 14 seconds of the result:

- The story played in order. The zombie came out of the fog at about 2 seconds, the bat went down by 6.5, the hug started by 9, and the cut to the kitchen memory came at about 12.
- Both people stayed recognizable. The zombie kept the partner's face, hair and blue suit, so the hug reads as a reunion, not a stranger.
- The outfits stayed the same in the street. The green suit, the white shirt and the blue suit kept their colors and cut.
- The memory changed one detail. In the kitchen, the survivor wears the white shirt without the green jacket.
- The zombie had some red marks. The prompt asks for film makeup with no blood, and the face and jacket still got a few red patches. They look like stage makeup, not wounds.
- The video is ready to post. It is a 720×1280 MP4, 15 seconds, with sound.
Choose photos that work
- One person per photo. Two faces in one photo can end up mixed.
- Face the camera, in good light. The model copies the face it can see, and the zombie still has to look like your partner.
- Show more of the body if you can. A half-body or full-body photo keeps the real outfit. A close-up leaves the rest to the model.
- Put the photos in the right order. The first photo is the survivor. The second photo becomes the zombie.
- Use photos you may use. Only animate people who agreed to it.
Questions
How long does it take? A few minutes. Ours took 3 to 5. You can leave the page; the video waits in All videos.
What does it cost? 75 credits for one 15-second video. A failed video is refunded. See the pricing page for credit packs.
